For a marketer, this is the stuff of dreams, … Our background is engineering, and we have no idea how to market, so you’ll be need to develop and execute the marketing strategy. We’ve come this far through sheer persistence and blind luck. Our branding is non existent, the only channels we know about are HBO and Showcase, and the last time we emailed a potential customer was I’m not sure when.


If you can figure out a plan of attack, and get the product in front of new users, we need to talk. If you can pull this off, the CEO will be thanking you when we succeed in dominating the world (of small business).


The right person will take a lead role in our team to figure out the best growth formula (audience, messaging, and channels) for our product. This role is likely 25% creative strategy and 75% tactical execution, so you’ll get a chance to try many things, track what works, and build out a few incredibly effective growth channels.

Figure out where we stand in the app stores, and push us past the competition
Discover who are users are, and get them lining up at the door
Wrangle engineering to build what’s needed next, to ensure our domination of small business invoicing
Integrate marketing and growth into our product strategy
We need someone who knows SEO from SEM, who lives and breaths analytics, could write copy for Sterling Cooper, and knows how to keep CAC below LTV.
