General Manager

You are the CEO of the market. While you will be given a set of playbooks to help launch and manage a market, it’s up to you how you want to tweak our efforts and execute on a day-to-day basis. You’ll be responsible for the financials, building a team, and reporting back to HQ how your local team is performing.

Typical Day:
Monday morning starts with a check on market vitals through our dashboards. You’ll then meet with your team to set priorities, discuss issues, and plan the week ahead.
Once the weekly game plan is set you are individually contributing to areas of need. You might be out working on merchant partnerships or maybe you’re calling and orienting dashers. Later on you’ll be analyzing specific parts of the business that are in need of some love.

Minimum Qualifications:
You’re an A+ generalist: you are analytical and ruthless with numbers, but you also get your hands dirty and help solve immediate issues facing the team
You lead by example, never point your finger toward anyone else, and recognize that no job is beneath you
Your personality can handle strategic thinking AND tactical execution
You are both a player and coach: in addition to building and managing a team, you also pitch in as an individual contributor, helping support our work with consumers, merchants, and drivers
You’re obsessed with priorities, goals and execution, yet can articulate a strategy to win the long term
You don’t settle
You understand the importance of tech and how it’s at the core of what we do
You’re an exemplary communicator always ensuring your team is on the same page
You enjoy being the underdog and are constantly fighting to grow our business

Preferred Qualifications:
Analytical horsepower: 3+ years at an investment bank, consulting firm, or some other capacity within a startup(s) or company
People management experience either professionally, athletically, or academically
Incredibly strong network in the local scene

$50K – $130K Salary
