We are expanding our sales team are seeking full-time, permanent Account Executives (Key Account Managers) in Vancouver, BC. This role will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Account Manager (Account Executive)
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be a self-sufficient member of the sales team responsible to acquire and manage a book of business, Our near term focus will be working within the SMB marketplace so we’re looking for someone who will be comfortable presenting the value proposition of both digital advertising and software as a service (SaaS) to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates for this role will perform responsibilities including:
Lead Generation & New Business Development:
Analyze changing needs of customers and the industry, identifying and anticipating trends
Manage a network of client/customer organizations to maximize business opportunities
Prospect, network, develop proposals, negotiate and close sophisticated clients and potentially complex sales transactions
Develops an understanding of customer needs, advises clients on suitable services to accomplish their objectives
Recommends customized solutions and provides special considerations for customers requiring more than one type of offering
Account Management:
Builds and maintains strong rapport with clients
Follows-up and connects with clients on a regular basis in order to maximize customer renewals
Uncovers client needs and identifies opportunities to develop customer-focused solutions
Sends regular Campaign Reports to clients to share insights and progress on ad campaigns
Handles challenging client conversations and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Works with administrative resources to maintain engagement records and review invoicing

Education & Experience
University/College Degree or equivalent blend of formal education and experience
Certification or prior training in a consultative selling approach considered an asset
Experience mentoring other teammates considered an asset
4+ years of B2B sales experience (Outside Sales, Account Management)
Previous experience selling to small business owners in the food industry is an asset
Previous experience in media sales, digital advertising is also considered an asset
Previous experience in SaaS sales is also considered an asset
Ability to establish relationships and maintain credibility with restaurant owners and their management teams
Ability to present results of ad campaigns to individual and groups of senior-level leaders with impact
High degree of personal initiative and willingness to lead in ambiguous situations
Willingness to travel locally on a regular basis and occasionally to other markets
Experience working in the local Vancouver market
Must possess a valid Driver’s’ License (vehicle not required)
